Foxton Racing Club.
At a meeting of the Foxton Racing Club held last night, the following were presentDr Bennett (chair), F. E. Jenks, C. Robinson, O. Robinson, E. E. Smith, W. Barber, A. Laing, J. Symons, H. Thynne, and the secretary. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read as. follows • From Secretary "Wanganui Jockey Club, re trainers license toi T. O’Brien.—From Wairarapa Age, Wairarapa Daily Times-, • N.Z. Times, Manawatu Farmer, and. Danevirke Advocate, re advertising. Proposed by Mr W. Barber, and seconded by O. Robinson,'That the committee recommend ■ a trainer's license be granted to T. O’Brien.— Carried. Proposed by F. E. Jenks, and seconded by W. Barber, That the advertising be left in the hands of the secretary.—Carried. Proposed by F. E. Jenks, and seconded by A. Laing, That Mr Thoa. Cameron's services be retained as starter.—Carried. Proposed by W.> Barber, seconded by H. Thynne, That the accounts as read amounting to £l3 2s 5d be passed for payment.—Carried. A vote of thanks to the chair con* eluded the meeting. ; .
