Messes Abraham & Williams, Ltd , Stock Report. The sheep at each centre have sold freely, with a steady upward tendency, and values are rapidly approaching the extreme limit at which they can prove payable. Cattle have been in better demand and somewhat increased prices, no doubt, owing to the shortage of sheep and the feed which is now plentiful throughout the country. We quote— Palmerston N.—Sheep; Prime heavy weight ewes, 17s Id ; forward ewes, 13s 4d; store do., 11s to Us 3d; aged ewes, 6s 7d to 9s 7d; 2-th wethers, 14s 8d; 2 and 4-tb do., 14s Id to 15s; small lambs, 7s. Cattle: Forward bullocks, £5 16s 6d to £6 15s; 2J and 8-yr do., £4 18s to £5 ; 18-mos steers, £3 12s to 18s; yearling do., £3 Is; weaners,* 20s to 28s 6d ; fat and forward cows, £5 5s 6d; dairy cows, £5 ; heifers in calf, 47s to £5 17s 6d; 18-moa heifers, £8 12s.
