A Mammoth Steamer.

The Baltic, one of the mammoth steamers built for the White Star line, has just been launched. She will ba a remarkable ship in many ways. Single berth staterooms are for the first time introduced on an Atlantic liner. Third-class passengers will have their comfort well looked after, staterooms for two, three or four persons being provided, while the diningrooms are unusually comfortable Her engines will be of 18.000 indicated horse power, and her speed from IGi to 17 knots.
