Newspaper Changes.
An exchange says:—Messrs Buick and Bussell have purchased the Dannevirke Advocate - from Messrs Hash and Coomb, and take possession next Monday. The latter firm has bought the Manawatu Standard from Mr F. Pirani, and takes possession on the Ist. Since taking over the Advocate at Dannevirke, Messrs Nash and Coomb have done much to increase the popularity of that paper, and the people of Dannevirke owe them a debt of gratitude for the way in which (bey have catered for them in the way of news. Both gentlemen will be much missed from that town. We wish them all sorts of Inok in their new venture, and feel sure the Manawatu Standard will in their hands maintain its high reputation.
