Wedding.

dunckley-austin. A quilt but pretty wedding was celebrated at noon to-day at the realdeuce of Mts R. Austin, "Tirohanga, Park Street, when her youngest daughter, Constacce, was married to Mr Thomas Charles Dunckley, telegraphic, in the local Post Office. The bride, who was given away by her mother, was attired in a robe of grey silk Eolienne. She also wore the customary veil and orange blossoms, and carried a very beautiful shower bouquet, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids were the Misses Minnie and Lily Austin (sisters of the bride) and May and Florrie Dunckley (sisters of the bridegroom). The former wore pretty dresses of pale grey Taffeta, and the Misses Dunckley crashed strawberry cashmere dresses. Mr Alfred downer, of the Palmerston • North Post Office acted as best man. The bride’s giit to the bridegroom was a handsome travelling rug, and from bridegroom to bride a diamond and sapphire brooch. The Misses M. Austin and M. Dunckley wore pretty brooches, and the Misses L. Austin and F. Dunckley gold band rings, which wore also gifts from the bridegroom. After the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev- W. Harris, the guests were entertained at afternoon tea. The wedding presents were very i-n numerous and costly, and included K several large cheques.. During the afternoon the happy couple left by train en route for a snort tour in the South Island.
