The Mullah has abandoned Walwal Wells, and has retreated in a north-westerly direction. Brigadier-General Manning, commander of the British forces, has arranged for a junction with the Abyssinian troops at Gorgulubi. A force of three hundred African Eiiles is hurrying to Wahval. The Mullah has retreated to Dik. As the Mullah has been expelled far beyond the borders of British territory, it is considered unnecessary to pursue- him further, if the protection of the frontier is feasible.
