Rifle Match.
FOXTON RIFLES v. SHANNON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. The return match between the above took place at Shannon on Tuesday, and resulted in a meritorious win for the Poxton men by 10 points. The ranges fired were 300, 500 and 600 yards, and in a heavy wind. The visitors had a most enjoyable time, were most hospitably entertained at the Albion Hotel at luncheon, and the ladies supplied afternoon 'tea which was also appreciated. Both teams are now equal, having won a match each. Following are the scores :
