The Otaki Manslaughter Case.
This morning Mrs Drake who wa* convicted of the manslaughter of her daughter at Otaki, and remanded to enable law points to be argued, came up for sentence before Judge Edwards, and was sentenced to sis years’ imprisonment with hard labour.
