GERMAN SCHEMING.
Germany for months strongly opposed the effort of Russia and Austria to induce the Sultan to grant reforms in Macedonia, declaring that their rash diplomacy imperilled the peace of Europe. Finding her opposition futile, Germany suddenly urged the same reforms, her newspaper complexly ignoring Austria’s shore in striving tobring about an improvement. The Vienna newspaper express, disgust at the mode in which the change of front has been effected.
