Korea and China.
The Emperor of China has given an audience to Pakchiasun, the first Korean Minister at Pekin. The Dowager-Empress was absent. Pakchiasuu’s suite appeared in European military uniforms with a view to emphasising the fact that they are no longer Chinese subjects.
