Messrs Abraham and Williams report as follows: — At Levin on Friday we had a small yarding of sheep, but the cattle pens were well filled. Generally the quality of the stock yarded was anything but good, and considering their poor condition good prices were realised. Heifers were scarcely so much in demand as a fortnight ago. Sheep—Ewes and lambs, 9s 9d to ll* ; fat aheap, 15s ; hoggets, 8s 6d ; dry ewes, 8s to 9s ; 3-yr bullocks, £5 19s to £6 8a ; 18 mos steers, £3 6s to £3 10s ; yearling steers, £2 2s to £2 13s 6d ; weanars, 27a to 32s Cd; springing heifers, £5 10s, £7 to £9; others, £3 10s to £5; empty heifers, £S 8s to £8 10s ; yearling heifers, 30s ; oowa in calf, £4 to £5 ss ; empty cows, £4 Bs.
