Montgomery’s Entertainers.
The people’s favourites are Montgomery’s Entertainers. That, unquestionably, is an absolute fact, and this popular combination will appear in the Foxton Public Hall on Thursday next, when the latest, greatest and most world renowed acts of the earth, procured at enormous expeese, will be reproduced, everything being new and sensational. The Sydney Bulletin says of Montgomery’s entertainment that it was “ one of the best night’s amusement given in Sydney.” The very latest songs, illustrated by magnificent picture tableaux, specially created for Mr Montgomery, will be rendered by him, and will include such gems as “ Last Night,” “Just Next Door,” “ Suit of Grey,” “ The Old Fashioned Way,” “The Star and the Flower,” etc. This popular artist is supported by a very strong vaudeville combination, including Bob Hall, the great comedian and fun maker, who will appear ih a new gilt-edged budget of humourous songs. Mr Hall was two years with Dix's Gaiety Companys, and showed with them for nearly 180 nights in Christchurch (almost a record season for any performer in New Zealand.)
