THE VOLCANO STILL IN ERUPTION. There was a terrible eruption from Mont Pelee on Saturday night. The detonation was the loudest yet heard. The village of Mornerouge was entirely destroyed. A tidal wave overwhelmed the village of Le Carbet, drowning two hundred! The crater is now quiet.
