Rioting In Belgium.
Some Spanish- Republican Deputies have been expelled from Belgium, where they had been conducting an agitation in favouring of extending the suffrage. A gathering of Socialists, in tendering them farewells at Brussels, insulted King Leopold as he rode along the street in an auto-mobile. They waved a red flag and shoted, “Vive la Republic,” " Vive Universal Suffrage.” Serious > Socialist demonstrations have occurred in the chief towns against Catholic Deputies. The police used sabres and revolvers, and numbers were injured, The windows of a Jesuit church and seminary at Liege were smashed. Many regiments of soldiers have been summoned to various districts in readiness for an out break.
