Scenes at a Football Match.
Seventy thousand spectators attended the Association football match between England and Scotland, which was played at Ibrox Park, Glasgow. The crowd broke the barriers and invaded the ground, and mounted police had to charge them in order to clear space. Many persons were injured in the crush. In another part of the ground the back of a grandstand and collapsed, preoipating scores of people 85ft and burying them amongst the broken wood. Altogether three were killed and 160 injured, some fatally. ,
