Methodist Social.

A very successful social was held last night in the Methodist schoolroom. Mr E. Osborne was in the chair. The Rev. Mr Robinson, a college student who has just arrived from England, gave an address, which proved interesting and instructive. - t The following musical items were givenlnstrumental duet, Misses Austin and Withers, trio, Misses Withers, Spring. and Mr T. Westwood; songs were contributed by Mrs Lewis, Misses Withers and Spring, and Messrs Reade, Bullard, Simpson, Porter and T. Westwood. Miss Harris' gave a reading and Mr T. Westwood also contributed a recitation. The accompaniments were played 'by Mrs Clarice, Misses Withers, Spring and Fnrrie. Refreshments were handed round by the ladies of the congregation daring the evening. Votes of thanks were passed to visitors, the ladies, and the chairman, and the evening was closed with the Benediction. . *
