Wedding.
' J - ♦ 1 ■ '* PERREAU-SAVELL. At the residence of the brides parents a very interesting wedding took place at noon yesterday, the contracting parties being Mr Mark Edwin Perreaa and Mrs Saveli. The Rev. W. Harris performed the ceremony. The bride, who was dressed very handsomely looked most charming, and was given away by her brother, Mr George Walls. The bridegroom was attended, by Mr Fred. Walls as best man. The bridegroom’s ptesent to "thebride was a purse of sovereigns, and to the bridesmaids, Miss Perreaa and Miss Agnes Walls, gold brooches, one set with opals and two large diamonds, and one with rubies- and diamonds. The popularity of the young couple es was testified to by numerous presents, A breakfast followed the ceremony, s and was partaken of by numbers bt relatives and friends,' at which Miss' ' Perreau cut a handsome five-decker . cake, and in the evening a pleasant time was passed in dancing and singing. The young couple left on their honeymoon by coach for Wellington. We trust their union may always prove a happy one. '
