Furniture.
To-day we were shown the furniture held by Messrs P. Hennessy Sc Co„ , and we can recommend a visit to this establishment by those in want of furniture. The handsome wardrobes, having long looking-glasses, would make a very useful and handsome addition to any bedroom, Thera is a. ■, very nice collection of dressing-tables and washstands in woods of two colours; and the combination chests ‘ of drawers, having a handsome bevelled ’ lookingglass on them, serves the pur-
pose of dressing-tables as well. , The conches are most enticing, having a very comfortable slope at the end and' the backs are open to choice, there being what are called “spindle” backs, that is an open back,* or upholstered backs,, stuffed and soft to lean against. The furniture is wellmade And comfortable, and is bound to demand attention. Besides the above there are many chests of drawers that are out of the common in the shape, depth, and number of the drawers. . '
