An Irate Cook.
Employed at one of the hotels in the town was a man named Edward Rodoninski, who had a dispute with his employer, and getting into a temper thought before leaving to make a record mixture. Either on Monday night or the first thing on Tuesday morning he placed in a barrel in which was some fat, the flour, currants, raisins, sago, peel and rice which was on hand, and then left by the morning train. The employer on discovering this, naturally complained, and laid an information; against him. The retribution was swift, as the culinary artist was arrested on warrant at Palmerston by Constable De Nor villa and brought down to town M ih«;waq Brought before Messrs Frstsef and Jeilks/J.’s P., and having pleaded guilty, was fined £i, ordered to'pay the damage done jos, Court costs, 13s.
