Sir, — I wonder did the members of the Manawatu Licensing Committee knew that there were two licensed houses in the Main-street of Foxton, as near or nearer, to the Church of England and Primitive Methodist Chapel as the one proposed to be built at the corner of Clyde and Main street, would be to the Scotch Church. If so, their decision seems strange to me. I am, &c, P.H.
