The Khedive.
— «* The Khedive of Egypt (Abbas Pasha) is now paying his promised te days' visit to England. He was brought across from Flush ing in Belgium in the Royal yacb 1 Victoria and Albert. The tri; occupied ten hours, owing to the roughness of the sea. The distinguished visitor is for the present detained at Port Victoria, at the mouth of the river Medway, in the estuary of the Thames, suffering from a septic sore throat. Her Mijesty is mnch concerned about his condition, and has sent one her own physicians to attend him. The doctor reports that the Khedive is progressing favourably, and can be removed to Buckingham Palace early in the week.
