(Before E. S. Thynne and Alf Fraser, Esqrs., J.s P.

Alfred Garbes was charged that at Foxton on the 25th October he did commit wilful damage to one pane of glass, the property of the Trustees of the Church of England, Foxton, to the extent of ten shillings.

Accused pleaded guilty and was fined 20s, and to pay for window ios, and costs gs, in default 7 days imprisonment with hard labour. Alfred Garbes was further charged that on the 25th October he did use threatening and abusive words in a public place, whereby a breach of the peace may have been occassioned. Accused pleaded guilty, and was fined ss, costs 7s, in default three days imprisonment with hard labour. Henry Robinson was charged that m the 22nd October, at F ->xton, being Sunday, he did Work at his trade or calling in. view of the Main street. Accused pleaded guilty, the work being one of necessity. Convicted and discharged. Donald McKenzie was charged with committing a breach of the peace on 27th October. Accused pleaded guilty under provocation.

The evidence did not bear this statement out and accused was fined 10s, costs 9s, witness 6s, in default seven days imprisonment with hard labour.

Duilio Picchi was charged with committing a breach of the peace on 27th October. The charge was dismissed.
