Wellington Wool and Sk!n Sales.
The New Zealand Loan and Mer? cantile Agency Company, Limited, reports as follows : — At our fortnightly sale on Friday we offered a catalogue of some 1200 skins and 20 bales of wool and crutchings. Buyers attended in full force, and competition was. particularly active. The prices obtained for skins reflected the rise recently reported by cable from London. Quotations :— Sheepskins. — Halfbred, s£d to 6d; full-woolled crossbred, 4sd to 4sd ; half to three-quarter woolled, 3sd to 4sd ; short-wpolled and broken, ad to 3sd; green crossbred skins, up to 4s ad each ; pelts, from 6d to is iod. each. Wool. — Medium crutchings, 3d to 3fd; heavy and coarse do, zd to 2^d ; stragglers' fleeces, 4d to 4^d ; dead wool, 3d to 4i
