A Disastrous Hurricane.
A hurricane in the Carribeaii Sea has wrecked the province of Ponce in Puerto Rico, drowning aoo person*. AH the shipping was driven ashore. Seventy-four fatalities occurred si Monserral, where every church was destroyed. The hurricane devastated the wholn country, and the people are rendered homeless. Twenty-one persons were killed at the Island of Nevis, while many lives were lost at Guadeloupe. The hurricane killed 200 people at La Pointe-a-Pietro, a town of the island of Guadeloupe, and destroyed the town of Kunaacoa, in the Island of Port Rico. .'-?:■■.
