" The Sign of the Cross."

On Saturday night the above play will be performed at the Public Hall, Foxton. It is but a short time ago that " The Sign of the Cross " was first produced in London at the Lyric Theatre, and the success it there attained led to its introduction very quickly to Australia. About a year ago the Wellington playgoers had it before them, and every night the house was packed. The play has received the praise of both pulpit and press, and is one that a chance to see it properly performed, as it will most profa ibly be on Saturday, should not be missed. As the attendance is bound to be large, early booking is strongly advised. The company perform at Palmccstoa to*night.
