A Boy Doctor.
That superstition is bard to kill, •nd credulity flourishes like a green bay tree, is shown by an extraordinary story in tbe v Pall Mall Gazette" about the boy doctor at Duhallow, who is the latest sensation of the South of Ireland. "This boy's name is Timothy Dineen, and during the past week he has been the occasion of some extraordinary ■oenes in the town of Kantork. People were to be seen entering the town, some of them having travelled great distances, asking for the address of this wonderful youth, whose fame as an annihilates of the ills that fleßh is heir to has spread all over that part of the country. Young Dineen is only in his eleventh year, and he is believed to be able to cure animals as well as human beings, bat especially ohildren, of a great many ailments. It appears he was born on a Good Friday and baptised on an Easter Monday, and hence his power, according to the country people. He is described as being a very ordinary lad, and not particularly bright or intelligent, but he has the greatest belief in his powers, which, according to report, have been exercised with marvellous success in numerous cases treated by him in Macroom, Oastleisland, and Killarney."
