The Supplement.
. « The supplement we publish to-day is a sort of surprise, but we wish it clearly understood,- as we have had no rich relation to die and leave us his wealth, nor have we a successful partner on the Klondyke, that it will not be at regular occurrence. It is, however, brimful of interesting facts and fancies and will be duly appreciated. The supplement, it will be noticed, contains the opening chapters of a stirring narrative* of "The Final War," which is now appearing in the Canterbury Times. ■
