Admiral Dewey telegraphs that he atill maintains the blockade of Manila. H.M.B. Linnet, which was detailed to watch the operations «t Manila, T has returned to Hongkong. Her captain has reported to the British Government that Admiral Dewey is unwilling to bombard the city of Munila, and he hopes to starve tht garrison into Subjection. The Spaniards defy him, and declare that they have ample food and stores placed beyond the range of the * warships' guns. Admiral Dewey telegraphs that he has secured the breechloaders from the sunken Spaniih vessels at Manila . also a quantity of arsenal stores.
