The Palmerston Show.
Tho entries for the Manawatu Agricultural and Pastoral Association's forthcoming show are now to hand. They are as follows : —Horses 280 (350 animals) ; cattle, 170 (225 head) ; sheep, 461 (961 head) ; pigs, 55 ; produce, 126. The entries show an increase of 419 sheep on last year, and horses, cattle, pigs, produce, implements have been largely increased. Poultry, dog 3 and vehicles are about the same as last year, The total number of entries received so far exceeds those of last year by 850, exclusive of implements and minor competitions. Returns havo yet to come in from the suburbs.

ascomniodatioh it baa beeh decided to erect at once 84 extra pens for cattle, 18 pens for pigs, and 185 for sheep.
