Opening of a Cathedral.
Cardinal Moran opened St Patrick's Cathedral, Melbourne, on November 1. The Bishops of Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Wellington and a large number of other leading clerics took part in the ceremony, which was a most impressive one. The building has been in course of erection for many years, and has cost over £200,000 without towers
or spires.
