The directory appears carefully prepared but we regret to notice that some local bodies are backward in their returns, our own Borough amongst the number. The publishers have a heavy work to execute and officials of all public bodies and olub3 should, by sending information, lighten the work. The information is for the public and therefore to the advantage of all. The map of Wellington and Suburb*, and the map of New Zealand have been correoted up to date. A very large amount of information is given besides the Custom* Tariff reoompiled in accordance with the latest Act. Tbe price 12 j6d ia cheap.
