Trouble in Chitral.

General Low's expedition was to ' have left Nowshera, near Peahawur, on Saturday, for Hoti Mordan. A brigade lightly equipped leads the advance. Heavy fighting is expected with the tribesmen at the Malakund Pass. The Hon George Curzon, the traveller, who recently published a work upon the States in North-wes-tern India, declares that Dr Robert^ son, the British agent, has ample supplies to hold Ghitral until he is relieved. The fire of the enemy cannot command the fort. It is reported that a second detachment of British troops is isolated in Cbitral, but nothing definite can be ascertained, as the telegraphic wires have been cut by the rebels. It is rumoured that a detachment under Lieutenant Fowler has been cut up at Beshun. The Chitral force under General Low has left Murdan.
