Polo.

On. Saturday afternoon a match was played between the Feilding and ; Oroua Polo Clubs at the Uroua Downs. The day was fine and a good many were present expecting a oloser battle than the game however proved, as the Oroua won easily by 7 goals to Feilding's 1. Feilding team— Strachan, Cooper, Giesen and Pioherlng (captain). Oroua team— McLennan (captain), J. Strang, B. Gower, and 0. Bobinson. Mr Mathieson acted as umpire and Mr Little timekeeper. In the first spell Gower scored one goal. In the second spell Strang and McLennan scored one goal each. In the third spell Robinson scored two goals for the Oroua and Giesen one goal for the Feilding men. In the fourth spell Gower secored two goals. Mrs McLennan entertained the teams at lunch in her usual hospitable manner. The Feilding team travelled by special tram from Sanson.
