« A meeting of those interested in • Football was held last night in the building lately occupied by Mr H. Bradcock. There was a good attendance. Mr Shadbolt was voted to the chair. After some conversation it waa resolved that a club be formed, and that it be called the Foxton Football Club. Mr A. E. T. Nixon waa elected President. Messrs A. S. Easfcon, J. B. Stansell, T. V. Procter, C. A. Harrison, H. Border and T. P. -* Williams were eleoted viee-presU^ dents. A number of names were enrolled as members. A general committee consisting of Messrs Hardy, Williams, Cook, Howard and Young were elected. Mr Westwood was chosen ag Treasurer. ; Mr A. Shadbolt was elected Captain. Mr Bradbury was made Secretary. The colours decided upon were- 1 dark and light blue. •,, The subscription was fixed at 2s 6d, A vote of thanks to the chaw closed the meeting.
