» Another parcel of scwt of stone from Hayes Bros.' new fiud yielded £•3000 worth of gold. Further rich finds are also reported at White Feather, the Ninety Mile and Hampton. Good alluvial gold has been struck at Pilbarra field, whence GOOoz has been brought in. The Warden has given an important decision regarding the working of cement claims at White Feather. A lessee attempted to eject the holders of 50 claims held under miners' rights, with a view of working cement on a large scale. The Warden decided in favour of the miners. Great interest was taken in the case, and there was great jubilation at the results. The miners are forming a union for the protection of their rights, A water supply scheme for the Coolgardie and Dundas goldfields is being arranged.
