♦ A meeting of the Committee of the above Club «.va« ht-ld at Whvte's Hotel last I night to rec ive the nominations and arrange crews for the paiv-onred race for silver caps presented by two members of the Club. Messrs C Easton and G. Edwards were elected member*, making the total meraberuhip close on 40. It was decided to ask Mr Biss to act as delegate at the meeting of the Bowing Association to be held in Wellington on the 7th instant.
