Foxton Cricket Club.

♦- -•- A meeting of the Fox (on C.C. Committee was held last night in Whyte'rf Hotel, Mr T. Mitchell, vice-president, in the chair. There was a full attendance, and a large amount of business was transacted. Th*e secretary read voluminous correspondence from the secretaries of the various clubs within hailing distance. Matches were definite'y arranged for the present month with three of the neighbouring clnbs. The i first of these is with the Levin C.C, and j comes ojT on Friday next, Prince of Walea' Birthday, at Mr Eauton's paddock, behind the Post Office Hotel.
