Every yard and race being occupied. Considering we had only a comparatively small number ad vertised, we Were agreeably surprised to quit as many stock as we did. We sold all the cattle excepting one pen and a great many pens of sheep, but most business waa done after the sale. Our quotations are — Catfclo— Yi-anings and 18« months mixed, £2 lls 6d ; weaners and yearlings, 32 * 6d to 38s. Sheep - Fat shorn sheep, O* ; shorn wethers, 7s 7d ; wethers in wool, 11s 3d ; hoggets, various prices, 8h 3d to 9s 3d ; ewes with lambs, 8.3 3d.
