— — +- — . — This examination, which occupied Mr Spencer, Inspector of Schools, three days, was finished on Friday afternoon before dusk, and as the schedules were filled in before the Inspector left on Saturday, we are enabled to publish the list of " passes "in this day's issue. We may state that the Head Master is rather disposed to doubfc fche advantage of publishing the names of those who pass, more especially as he is of opinion fchat often fche unlucky ones who fail are by no means the worst in the class. Ifc has been the custom however, in this district to publish the names, and we adhere to it. The following is the list of the passes : — Standard VI. — Dennis Purcell, Harold Ray. Standard V. — David Ahem, Leonard Furrie, Ambrose Purcell, Frank Ray, Hugh Williams. Standard IV. — Robert Cawston, Percy Easton, Edgar Gillespie, Lionel Stansell. Standard 111. — John Lewis, James Furrie, Leslie Newfch, William Sawyers, Joseph Gillespie, Fevre Honore, Peter Hughes, Alexander Sherrock, Frederick Whibley, Albert Wilson.
