Alleged Libel.
The following Press Association telegram appeared in Tuesday morning's Chronicle : —Messrs McMillan, Rhodes & Co., merchants, of Foxton, have issued a writ claiming damages from che proprietor of the Manawatu Standard for alleged libel referring to the disposal of the firm's stock as bankrupt stock, whereas it was dis posed of by tender.
