The Honse met at 2 p.m. The afternoon was taken up with a debate on a motion for adjournment, the subject being Colonel Fox's report. The resulfc was nothing. When the House resumed at 7.80 p.m.. the Stock Bill was committed. In clause 2, ifc was resolved thafc the Bill should come into operation on the Ist of January nexfc. After further consideration the Bill was read a third time and passed. Mr Guinuess moved thafc in the opinion of the House ifc is expedient that the report of the Public Accounts Committee on the proposals of the Midland Railway Company be given effect to. This occupied the resfc of the evening and the debafce was adjourned, and the House rose afc 3.15 a.m.
