The Speaker too the chair at 2.30 p.m. Sir Robt. Stout introduced the Licensing Act 1881 Amendment Bill, which was read a first time. In reply to the Speaker, the Premier said that the Government did not propose to answer questions that day.
The Financial debate occupied the rest of the evening.
