Education Board.

The usual monthly meeting of the Wanganui Education Board commenced on Monday night Present — Mesgra Nofcman (in the chair), G. S. Bridge, H. Sanson and J. H Fry. Mr G. Carson's resignation as treasurer was accepted, and it was resolved on the motion of Mr Fry, seconded by Mr Sanson, that Mr Notman be appointed treasurer. -Mr Gl S. Bridge was appointed a number of the Executive Committee. The voting papers for the election of three members were opened and counted. The result was declared as follows : — John Notraan, 64 votes ; G. S. Bridge, 58 ; R. E, Bee kett, 56 ; F. Hrani, 43. The first three, being the old members, were deolared eleoted.
