Gorton and Sos'b St<J"ck Report. Fall entries came forward at our Awahuri Bale on Tuesday of both cattle and sheep, and our yards at Feilding could not contain the very large entries which came forward at that sale on Friday and we had again to avail ourselves of the courtesy of the Alliance to use their yards aa well. The sale at Awahuri was dull And there was a deoided drop iv all olasses of stock. We Bold a good many but had to turn out many linos unsold. At Feilding, though the bidding was dull there, wo managed to quit a large quantity. Our quotations are :— AWAHtmi. Cattle— Fat cows, £5 2s 6d to £5 ss i heifers in calf, £4 10s to £4 16s ; forward cows, £4 2s 6d ; store cows, £3 10s to £3 10* 6d ; 3-year steers, £4 10s Gd ; 18-moths steers, £2 ss; 1-year steers, £1 13s 6d. Sheep— Lambs, Gs (id to 7s 4d; fat sheep, 9s. :>.. - • FEILDING. Cattie— Fat cows, £5 10s; 3-year bullock, £4 8s 6d ; 18-months to 2-years steers, £3 to £3 6s Gd ; 2^-year steers, £3 13a 6d ; weaners, 22s 6d to 335 ; 18-months steers, £2 12s 6d.
