Since our last notice the following sets in the tournament have been played off: — Miss C. Symons has beaten Miss H. Burr by 6to 1 ; Mr J. McNicol has beaten Mr E. Cowles 6 to 5 ; and Mr H. Gower has put Mr Rhodes through by the same narrow win, 6to />. The last two games were particularly well contested, and the ConimiDtee are disposed to plume themselves a bit on the success of their handicapping.
