Foxton Rifle Club.
A general meeting of the above Club was held at Whyte's sample lasc night. There was a fair attend" ance of members.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The balance sheet was passed. There was a credit balance of £8 8s lid.
The following officers were elected :— <aptain, Mr J. K. Stansell ; Secretary, Mr Alfred Fraser ; Committee, Messrs J. Walsh, W. Ingram, F. France, H. Blake, B. Spelman, and Alf. Fraser. It was decided that the uniform of the Club should be a blue serge tunic and cap and leather gaiters. It was decided to hold a series of matches on Good Friday, when the members will be divided into classes so as to give the junior members a show.
Messrs H. Bradcock, .7. Walsh and W. Ingram were appointed a sub-committee to canvass for prizes.
It was decided to spend £1 to put the range in order The Foxton Kacing Club were also to be asked to allow the Club to use a room in the grand stand in which flags and discs could be kept. Two or three members signified their intention of attending the next meeting of the New Zealand Bifle Association.
