M. Ribofc, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, addressing the Chamber ot Deputies, declared that the Franco-Russian entente was a guarantee of the immediate expulsion of all Germans. Russia intends to create a commercial harbour at Porte, on the Asiatic coast of the Rlack Sea, in order to make Batoum an arsenal. Anti- Jewish rioters pillaged 4,---000,000 roubles, the property of Jews. During the fight 22 Jews, were killed and 200 others wounded. The correspondent afc St. Petersburg of the Daily News wires that the Russian Government is prohibiting private societies from relieving the starving peasants in the southern and western distrtcts, and threatens to arrest any volunteers who visit the districts. The Moscow Gazette advocates the expulsion of the Germans from Russia. The master printers in Berlin have decided to strenuously resist the men's demands for nine hours a day.
