German Emperor in London.
The Emperor of Germany reviewed six thousand .regulars and twenty thousand Volunteers at Wimbledon on Saturday. The weather was brilliant, and the Emperor complimented the Duke of Cambridge, Oommander-in-Chief on his splendid troops. In the evening His imperial Majesty reviewed 150 Fire Brigades from London and the provinces at the Crystal Palace. The Emperor of Germany's speech at Guildhall has produced a favourable impression, both in Paris and St. Petersburg. The Emperor, accompanied by the Empress, attended service at St. Paul's yesterday unannounced. La Liberte frankly admits • that i the German. Emperor's speeches in London are pacific in character. The, Emperor and Empress of Ger. many have gone to Hatfield House, where they will be the guests of the Premier. The German press refer to the Emperor's reception in London in terms of warm approval.
