Joseph Birchley — £1 16s, costs 6s, mileage 6s. P. Gascoigne v. J. N. Walls— £2 18s, costs 6s. W. L. Coe v. Joseph Birchley — £5 19s 6(1, costs 10s, mileage 6s, solicitor's fee 21s. J. N. Walls v. Joseph Birchley — £7 7s 4d, costs 10s, mileage 6s, solicitor's fee 21s.

Mr Bay for plaintiff and Mr Han- 1 kins for defendants. i This was a claim for £154 for cutting green flax and carting same < to Soho Hemp Mill for the defend- s ants at their request, dating from t November to end of December, 1890. { A. Langley gave evidence in sup- s port of his case. i Mr Hankins called 1 George Gray and Joseph Birchley, ] who testified to the greater part of i account being paid to other parties '. for plaintiff. The balance would only be a very small amount. The B.M. stated that the claim would be reduced to £129 4s 4d, and the set oft £129 14s 4d would be allowed. This was therefore judgment for the defendants. John Harris v. F, Taylor— Claim £2. Mr Bay for plaintiff. Judgment for amount and costs 6s, mileage 10s. S. Startup v. E. Cole— Claim £8 15s 3d. Plaintiff applied for a nonsuit, which was granted, costs 4s.
