The Mail Service.
Our readers will be glad to learn tlu't the Postmaster-General has consented to give the subsidy ot JESO required by Mr Bradcock for the conveyance of the mails between Foxton and Kerern. This service has been found so convenient both to residents and travellers, as a coach has to be supplied, thus making a connection with the Manawatu railway, that the chance of its discontinuance was looked on with regret. We have to thank Mr J. G-. Wilson for bringing the matter before the Government and getting them to take a reasonable view of the service.
